  7. The Mainland Inn in Harleysville is thrilled to host a Downton Abbey themed dinner to benefit Manna on Main Street.
Since this is the very last season of the PBS hit series, Downton Abbey, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the award winning show, while at the same time raising funds for an extremely worthwhile local cause. Manna on Main Street, located in Lansdale, is a non-profit organization committed to ending hunger in the North Penn region by providing food, fulfilling social service and education needs, and conducting community outreach. Through a food pantry and soup kitchen, emergency financial aid, counseling and referrals, and education opportunities, they serve those in need with the hope “that everyone might be fed.” This organization is imperative to many in our community.
The Mainland Inn has always been a strong supporter of community since it reopened it’s doors in January, 2015. They have committed to sourcing only 100% organically grown and sustainably sourced ingredients including heirloom vegetables and heritage, pasture-raised meats from onsite gardens and their farm, Quarry Hill Farm located 1.5 miles away, as well as other local farms.
