Spring not only signals a rebirth in garden, but also on the restaurant scene.
Sweet Pea’s Restaurant, an extension of Sweet Pea Catering Company, debuts in Parkesburg on Friday, April 28, serving a combination of Caribbean, BBQ and classics from “granny’s kitchen.” Try the coconut macadamia shrimp, authentic slow-smoked ribs or banana pudding.
Cedar Craft & Kitchen, “a casual, Italian-centric restaurant and tavern,” opens in Glenolden on Tuesday, May 9. It’s a collaboration between the owners of Pepperoncini in Conshohocken and Moonshine in Philadelphia, offering dinner seven nights a week, live music and outdoor seating.
Looking ahead, Outer Banks’ favorite Duck Donuts announced a new outpost coming to the King of Prussia Town Center in July. The Habit Burger Grill also plans to open there.
