Philadelphia Folksong Society announces lineup of 2017 Folk Festival

The third weekend in August brings the 56th annual Philadelphia Folk Festival in Upper Salford Township. There an 80-acre working farm is transformed into a magical, musical environment that offers three days of music Aug. 17-20. Legions of music fans will head to see and hear: Old Crow Medicine Show, Graham Nash, Taj Mo: The Taj Mahal & Keb’ Mo’ Band, Samantha Fish, The Weight Band with The King Harvest Horns, Sierra Hull, Susan Werner, Jimmy LaFave, Sam Baker, Andy McKee, Tift Merritt, Eric Andersen, John McCutcheon, Harrow Fair, Heather Maloney, David Amram, The Kennedys, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, Laura Cortese & the Dance Cards, Bruce Molsky & Molskey’s Mountain Drifters, Otis Gibbs, Ranky Tanky, Runa, Lloyd Spiegel, Balle an Salsa, Bella Hardy, Corin Raymond, Ian Foster, Skip Denenberg, Edge Hill Rounders, Wesley Stace (formerly known as John Wesley Harding), Son of Town Hall, Spuyten Duyvil  and more to be announced.
