April 8: Bend & Brew, Kennett Brewing Company, Kennett Square
Kennett Brewing Company is hosting its first “Bend and Brew” from from 11 a.m. to noon. Amy Huf teaches a Yoga class. After yoga, participants can enjoy beer and snacks. Purchase tickets ($25) online.

April 15: Philadelphia Zoo “The Watering Hole” Beer Garden opens
The Watering Hole, Philadelphia Zoo’s open-air beer and wine garden, sponsored by Victory Brewing Company, will be opening for the season on April 15. Open Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., The Watering Hole features craft beer and light fare.

April 22: WMGK Locals Only Beer Fest, Independence Seaport Museum, Philadelphia
The event highlights Pennsylvania and New Jersey’s breweries and guests can sample some 50 varieties of beer from 25 of the area’s brewers, including one flagship beer and one specialty beer from each brewer. Tickets ($45) are available online.

May 13: Phoenixville Beer & Wine Festival, Kimberton Fairgrounds, Phoenixville
The inaugural Phoenixville Beer & Wine Festival will feature more than 80 craft beers, and over 30 wines, meads, ciders and spirits. From noon to 4:30 p.m., enjoy live music and browse the wares of local artisans. Food will be available from local restaurants and food trucks. Tickets can be purchased online; VIP Session starts at noon ($65 + $4.24 fee); General Session begins at 1 p.m. ($40 + $2.99 fee).

May 13: Brandywine Valley Craft Brewer’s Festival, Iron Hill Brewery, Media
In its 17th year, the Brandywine Valley Craft Brewer’s Festival will once again be held next to Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant in Media. From 1 to 5 p.m., the festival will showcase live music, food and handcrafted beers from area breweries — over 25 breweries are scheduled to attend. Purchase tickets ($45) online.

June 24: Summer Ale Festival, Philadelphia Zoo, Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Zoo’s Summer Ale Festival is back. From 7 to 10 p.m., enjoy the brews from over 20 breweries while exploring the Zoo and its animals. A VIP Session (tickets $75) begins at 6pm; General Admission ($55 until March 31, then $60) starts at 7 p.m. Tickets available online.
