Keystone Homebrew hosts Club Barrel Brew Competition

Victory Brewing representatives will be at the Clubhouse Bar and Grill from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. a Victory is the Brewery of the Month for April. Be sure to stop by to grab a Victory draft or bottle, and pick up a free Victory pint glass while supplies last.
March 31: Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival, Atlantic City, N.J.
The 11th Annual Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival is back with three sessions (Friday, March 31, 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Saturday, April 1, noon to 4 p.m.; Saturday, April 1, 6 to 10 p.m.) and over 140 breweries. Not to mention live musical acts during all the sessions. Tickets are available online, $60 per session.
April 1: Club Barrel Brew Championship, Keystone Homebrew Supply, Montgomeryville
Starting at 6 p.m., the judging for the 2016/2017 Club Barrel Brew Competition will be held. Open to all and a free event, you can try all the beers that were home-brewed last July and then barrel aged, plus you can meet the artists that brewed them.

April 1: 3rd Anniversary Party, Conshohocken Brewing Co., Conshohocken
Celebrate the third anniversary of Conshohocken Brewing Company with a trail clean up at 9:30 a.m. (donuts and coffee for volunteers); “MC5 Double Dry Hopped IPA” and “Blood Money” can release at 11 a.m.; “Overkill BA” 22 ounce bottle release at 11 a.m.; a special food menu; and brewery gear giveaways.

April 1: Porter Fest 2, Club 212, Phoenixville
Come witness the collaboration of Sly Fox’s beer and the band Mason Porter with the release of “Mason Porter Porter.” Mason Porter (the band) will perform as this year’s version of the beer is poured. Tickets (General Admission -$15 + fee; Table Seating – $20 + fee; VIP – $30 + fee) are available online.
April 6: Sly Fox Brewing Company will debut Chest Bockwell at Barcade
At 4 p.m. Sly Fox Brewing Company will debut Chest Bockwell, a German-style lager brewed with real chestnuts, at Barcade (1114 Frankford Ave.) in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood. Chest Bockwell, named after John C. Reilly’s fictional crime-fighting character in the movie Boogie Nights, is a traditional Dunkel Bock, with chestnut flour added to the mash, drawing on rich Vienna, Munich, caramel and roasted malts from Bavaria for a toasted flavor profile. In addition to Chest Bockwell, Barcade will be pouring a slew of Sly Fox drafts at the release party, including: 360 IPA,Helles Lager, Ichor, Odyssey, O’Reilly Stout, Phoenix Pale Ale, Pikeland Pils, Royal Weisse, Route 113 IPA and Saison VOS. Chest Bockwell will be available at all six Barcade locations throughout the region (Philadelphia, PA; Jersey City, NJ; Chelsea, NY; St. Mark’s, NY; Brooklyn, NY and New Haven, CT).
