Feb. 2: Fegley’s Bethlehem Brewworks, Bethlehem Charity Cask Night, Bethlehem
The first Thursday of every month Fegley’s serves a firkin — a small keg that holds about 9 gallons of cask-conditioned, 50°F beer — and the proceeds go to a local charity. The brewers add ingredients to the beer to make each firkin special, so make sure you are there at 5 p.m. — because it goes fast!
Feb. 2: Flying Fish Brewery Tasting, ACME, Flourtown
From 4 to 6 p.m., join Flying Fish Brewery Rep Cosmo as he serves samples of Flying Fish styles, including their winter seasonal “Grand Cru.” He will be talking about the beers, the brewery, the tasting room, and the new styles coming soon.
Feb. 3: Weyerbacher Beer Tasting at Washington House, Sellersville
In its monthly beer tasting, The Washington House will serve 4 styles of Easton, Pennsylvania-based Weyerbacher Brewing beers starting at 5 p.m. Make reservations online or call (215) 257-3000.
Feb. 3: River Horse Brewing Tasting, Whole Foods, Wynnewood
From 5 to 7 p.m., sample Ewing, NJ-based River Horse Brewing Company beers while shopping for your groceries. They will be serving their core styles as well as seasonal brews, which are sure to make your trip to the market even better.
Feb. 4: British Invasion Multi-Tap, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, Phoenixville
Iron Hill Phoenixville will be hosting a “British Invasion” event from noon to 5 p.m. that will feature 8 British style beers and a British inspired menu. On tap will be “Revolution Ale,” “Pig Iron Porter on Cask,” “Russian Imperial Stout,” “Wee Heavy,” “McMaster on Cask,” “Chocolate Stout on Nitro,” “St. James Brown Ale,” and “London Calling.” For King of the Hill Club members, the first 50 members that order a sampler will receive a complimentary event scarf.

Feb. 26: Band of Brewers V, World Cafe Live, Philadelphia
In its fifth year, the Band of Brewers is back with a huge lineup — so huge that it will be split into 3 events. Bands comprised of employees of local breweries will compete in a music competition, with the winning band gaining accolades and a donation to the charity of its choice. The first round on Feb. 26, will include bands from Forest & Main, Weyerbacher, River Horse, Philadelphia Brewing Co., Neshaminy Creek, and Victory; and of course — they will all be serving their beer to enjoy during the show. Tickets ($15 + $1.75 fee) are available online now.
