Greater Philadelphia Expo Center: The Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo is held 4 to 9 p.m. Jan. 13 (Family Night, when children 12 and under are admitted free), 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 14 (the day of the Parade of Breeds) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 15. The expo center is at 100 Station Ave., Upper Providence. Highlights include freestyle dancing with dogs; a petting zoo; pony rides; dog sporting competitions; exotic animal attractions; The Delco Bird Club; a canine Flyball tournament; Dynamo
Dogs; rabbit hopping; guinea pig agility demonstrations; lectures on “How to Find a Reputable Breeder” and “Tips for Protecting Your Pets from Outdoor Pests;” pet adoptions; pet vendors and more.
