The Chester County Historical Society is sharing more than a dozen quilts that were recently donated to CCHS, and never before exhibited in public.
On view through Jan. 31, “Quilts: The Next Layer” features quilts pieced or appliqueed in the 1800s, with an array of designs in cotton or silk.
CCHS is at 225 N. High St., West Chester. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. You can see “Quilts: The Next Layer” through Jan. 31 (except for New Year’s Day and Martin Luther King Day).
Admission is $6, $5 for seniors and students, $3.50 for children over 6.
For more information, call (610) 692-4800 or visit www.chestercohistorical.org.
