Dec. 22: Sly Fox Christmas Tasting Party at Milkboy, Philadelphia
Sly Fox presents a Christmas Ale Tasting Party at Milkboy. A $10 ticket gets you in for a free Sly Fox Christmas Ale tasting from 9 to 10 p.m. and a throwback hip-hop DJ set by Ben Aire & Handsome Sam. With your ticket you’ll also get a free Sly Fox can and specials on all Sly Fox cans for the rest of the night.
Dec. 23: River Horse Brewing Tasting, Quakertown Beverage, Quakertown
Join River Horse representative John from 4 to 6 p.m. as he pours samples of River Horse core styles and seasonal beers at Quakertown Beverage. But if you happen to be near the River Horse Brewery in Ewing, N.J. that day, stop by the tasting room for the release of “Hippo’s Hand,” a citrusy double IPA brewed with Buddha’s Hand fruit.

Jan. 19: Hibrewnation, Allstar Complex, Gettysburg
The first of the 2017 Hibrewnation festivals, the Gettysburg event will take place at the Allstar Complex. As described by the website, “Hibrewnation is a tasting festival, not a drinking festival. It is not flagship beers in large quantities. It is smaller quantities of rare and harder to find beers and putting them in front of people who appreciate them. You may not get them all, but you can get many of them.” Tickets are available online now: $55 for VIP (noon – 5 p.m.) and $40 for general admission (2 – 5 p.m.).
Feb. 25: Kennett Winterfest, Kennett Square
Bundle up and enjoy winter brews from at least 50 unique craft breweries and live music with Shady Groove. Includes unlimited craft beer tastings. New this year is a Food Truck selection instead of a food ticket. Tickets on sale now: General Admission Session from 12:30 – 4 p.m. ($60) and early admission VIP Session in a heated space from 11:15 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. ($100).
March 4: Philly Craft Beer Festival, Philadelphia Navy Yard
The award-winning Philly Craft Beer Festival will return to The Navy Yard on March 4. “More than 75 craft breweries from around the block, around the country, and around the globe will be on hand to offer more than 200 different samples of their brews during a VIP session and a General Session,” according to www.phillycraftbeerfest.com. Tickets are on sale now: VIP ($75); General Session ($46). Order them online.
May 13: Phoenixville Beer & Wine Festival, Phoenixville
Just announced, the Phoenixville Beer & Wine Festival is planning to feature over 40 breweries, 12 wineries, spirits, mead and cider. Keep an eye on their Facebook page.
