Passport to Bucks Wine-Tasting Tour
Are you a wine enthusiast? Then get your Passport to the Bucks and experience a wine-tasting tour. According to a press release from Bucks County, Passport to Bucks card holders can enjoy a complimentary wine tasting at all nine Bucks County wineries. The event beings Tuesday, Nov. 1 and continuws through April 30. The nine wineries include: Buckingham Valley Vineyards, Crossing Vineyards and Winery, New Hope Winery, Peace Valley Winery, Rose Bank Winery, Rushland Ridge Vineyards, Sand Castle Winery, Unami Ridge Winery and Wycombe Vineyards. Once all nine wineries have been visited and nine punches have been made on your Passport to Bucks card, you will be entered into a drawing to win a prize.
Passports can also be purchased at Visit Bucks County, 3207 Street Road in Bensalem, Pa., 19020. Passport holders will receive a free wine tasting at all nine of the wineries (a $65 value). Visits to all nine wineries during the contest period of Nov. 1, 2016 through April 30, 2017 qualifies Passport holder for entry into a drawing. Annual Family Lives On Traditions Ball
The Annual Family Lives On Traditions Ball will be held Saturday, Nov. 5 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Valley Forge Casino Resort (1160 1st Ave., King of Prussia), according to a press release. Guests must RSVP by Monday, Oct. 31.
According to the release, this year’s Traditions Ball will feature Ryan Innes from The Voice. This year’s theme is “Supper Club,” and attendees will be treated to dinner and a special show “The Venue” at the casino. Ticket purchases benefit Family Lives On’s “Tradition Program, which “provides grieving children, teens and their families with a therapeutic tool to promote healthy grieving and post-traumatic growth after the death of a parent.” Click here to buy tickets to the event or for more information.
Fall Ladies Shopping Night at Redhound Grille
Redhound Grille (128 Paoli Pike, Paoli) will be hosting a Fall Ladies Shopping Night on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m., according to a press release from the restaurant. The restaurant has been hosting Ladies Shopping Nights since 2012, and this year’s event will feature local businesses on the Main Line that are owned and operated by women. According to the release, each vendor will be donating a special prize that will be raffled off as door prizes. The following vendors will be in attendance: Nota Bene Boutique, Stella & Dot Stylist Pam Maio, The Loft at Knots & Weaves, The Ultimate Bake Shoppe of Wayne and West Chester Macaroni Kid’s creator Jen Anderson. PA BaconFest in Lehigh Valley
PA BaconFest is a two-day event happening Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov. 6 in at Centre Square (325 Northampton St., Easton). According to a press release, the event has been named one of the world’s best festivals. It features more than 100 vendors and 20 musical acts performing on eight stages. The event also features culinary creations and seasonal brews along with a Racin’ Bacon 5K and a Dueling Swine Pig Roasting Competition. The event is presented by Greater Easton Development Partnership and a $2 donation is suggested for the event (which benefits Easton Main Street Initiative, Easton Ambassadors, Easton Farmers’ Market and Easton Public Market).
