Oct. 15: Rhythm and Brews Kolbe Fund Fundraiser, The High Point, Malvern, PA
The Kolbe Fund will host its second annual Fall fundraiser, “Rhythm and Brews.” An incredible lineup of foods, craft beers and great music sets the stage for this fundraiser for the Kolbe Fund, which provides support for families who must travel in order to obtain the best medical care for a child. Tickets ($90) must be purchased online in advance. Can’t make it? You can still donate by buying a ticket for a social worker!
Oct. 15: Yorktoberfest, York, PA
From noon to 5 p.m., the York Fairgrounds will host a beer and wine festival that includes more than “120 fermentations,” including over 70 ales and lagers. Take the trip to York and experience some breweries that haven’t quite made it to Philadelphia just yet — such as Boneshire Brew Works, Crystal Ball Brewing, Liquid Hero, and South County Brewing. Tickets ($35 VIP, noon to 5 p.m.; $30 General Admission 1 to 5 p.m.) are available online — don’t miss this fantastic event!
Oct. 15: Wallstock 2016 at Wyebrook Farm, Honey Brook, PA
One of the defining characteristics of West Nantmeal Township is the plethora of beautiful stone walls. In an effort to raise money for the restoration of the walls around the township, “Wallstock 2016” will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. at Wyebrook Farm. Tickets ($45 per person in advance, $50 at the door) include Wyebrook-made food, live music, free beer (compliments of Victory Brewing and Gretz Beer Company), silent auction, cow pie bingo contest and a hot air balloon lighting. Gearheads and hopheads alike will enjoy a car show at Sly Fox Brewhouse & Eatery from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Enjoy fresh brews, food, and 20 percent off your purchase when you enter your car in the show.
Oct. 19: Bells & Whistles Whiskey & Beer Pairing Dinner, Iron Abbey, Horsham
A 4 course meal paired with whiskey and beer sounds like the perfect combination for the cool autumn weather. Beginning at 7 p.m., Iron Abbey will serve its finely crafted foods with a WhistlePig whiskey and a Kalamazoo, Michigan-based Bells beer with each course. Oct. 20: Harvest Beer Dinner, Victory Brewing, Downingtown
Celebrate the beginning of Autumn with a 5 course beer pairing meal at Victory’s Downingtown Brewpub. Each course is paired with a Victory beer, including Harvest Ale, Selene Saison and Moonglow. Tickets ($55) are sure to go quickly, you can order them online. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.
