September 16 – 4th Annual Tavern Night at Morgan Log House
In its fourth year, the Morgan Log House presents Tavern Night – a fundraising evening of craft beers, meads, ciders, wines, distilled spirits and 8 food courses on the grounds of this 300 year old historic site. Tickets for the General Session ($40) from 6 – 9pm, and a VIP Session ($65) from 5 – 6pm, are available online.
September 16 – Philadelphia German Brass Band, Otto’s Brauhaus, Horsham
Otto’s Brauhaus in Horsham, known for live music in its large outdoor beer garden and selection of German beer, will be presenting the Philadelphia German Brass Band from 6 – 9pm, just in time to welcome Oktoberfest! Try several varieties of authentic German Oktoberfest style beer while enjoying the traditional sounds of the oldest continually performing German band in the Philadelphia region.
September 17 – Oktoberfest, Stable 12, Phoenixville
Stable 12 will celebrate Oktoberfest in their outdoor beer garden from 5 – 7pm. The event will pair 4 8oz samples of their beer with 4 4oz samples of sausages and sides from Uncle B’s BBQ Shack. Tickets ($35) available online.
September 17 – “Welcome to Pumpkintown,” Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, Huntingdon Valley
Iron Hill Brewing Company’s newest location in Huntingdon Valley will welcome autumn with 4 pumpkin beers on tap from noon – 9pm. Enjoy their Pumpkin Ale, Pumpkin Coffee Stout, Barrel-Aged Ichabod, and Cinderella’s Carriage, along with a food menu that includes special fall flavors.
September 17 – Lehigh Valley Craft Beer Fest, Coca-Cola Park, Allentown
Previously known as The Bacon and Brews Bash, the Lehigh Valley Craft Beer Fest features unlimited beer tastings of local craft brews and food trucks serving savory bacon dishes. Thirty breweries will be serving up to 4 varieties of their beers during this unlimited sampling session on the Iron Pigs’ field. Tickets are $35 for General Admission from 3 – 6pm or $45 for the VIP session beginning at 2pm. September 17 & 18 – Septemberfest at Plantation Field, Kennett Square
Kennett Square’s Plantation Field will host its Septemberfest, which includes an equestrian event – the “Three Day Eventing” – a horse and rider triathlon that can be viewed from Plantation Field’s almost unfettered view of the entire cross country course. During Septemberfest, Victory Brewing Company’s “Brewpub on Wheels” will be serving their popular brews and food. General admission tickets ($20) are available on the website.
