Sept. 2: First Friday Firkin Cask Conditioned Beer Release, Iron Hill Phoenixville
At 5 p.m. Iron Hill Phoenixville will release “Honey Crusher,” a hoppy session ale brewed with a blend of Cascade, Amarillo and Nelson hops. This is a “one night only” release in conjunction with Phoenixville’s First Friday. Taps open for King of the Hill Club members at 4 p.m.
Sept. 2: Smuttynose Beer Tasting, Washington House, Sellersville
This month’s featured brewery is New Hampshire-based Smuttynose Brewing Company. Brewing since 1994, Smuttynose is well-regarded around the country and internationally. Come try Smuttynose beers with the Washington House’s delicious offerings.
Sept. 7: Half Acre Brewing 4 Course Pairing Dinner, Kildares Pub, West Chester
In its monthly beer pairing, Kildares Pub in West Chester will be matching 4 beers from Illinois-based Half Acre Brewing Co. with 4 courses of Chef Stephanie’s creations. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. The full menu can be viewed online; tickets ($35), are available at Eventbrite.
Sept. 8: Wings of Victory NFL Kickoff Party, Irish Rover Station House, Langhorne
Join Victory Brewing Company at Irish Rover Station House in Langhorne from 8 to 10 p.m. to kickoff the football season. Three wing sauces made with Victory beer will be served and you can vote for the best. The winning sauce will become the Thursday night wing sauce for the football season.

Sept. 10: The First Annual Boxcar Games, Boxcar Brewing, West Chester
Although the Olympics are done, you can still get your fill of competition at the Boxcar Games. The winner of 5 events —Beer Pong, Can Jam, Ladder Golf, Baggo (Cornhole), & Flipcup — will win $1,000. Sign up as a team of 8 to compete ($55/person) or just come to watch ($45) and enjoy some Boxcar brews, a train ride, music and food.

Sept. 17: Stable 12 Oktoberfest
Celebrate Oktoberfest in Phoenixville’s Stable 12 Brewing Co.’s beer garden. Stable 12 will be collaborating with Uncle B’s BBQ to serve a 4 course dinner pairing. Your $35 ticket will get you a pound of sausage, awesome sides, and 2 pints of beer including a new Oktoberfest style beer. Purchase tickets ($35) online before they sell out!
