Formed in 2010 by a group of high school friends following their dreams, local synth metalcore band Into Apollo found itself performing at venues such as Allentown’s Crocodile Rock Cafe.

Sharing the stage with various bands who developed a nationwide following, Into Apollo eventually split up due to hardship and callings to pursue different paths … only to meet up again six years later.

A new EP is on the way, and they’re part of the “Still Scene in 2016” show set for Saturday Aug. 13 with Morgan’s Accident, Amora, Only Maids and Anaphora. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at Emmanuel  Episcopal Church, 560 S. Main St., Quakertown.

A submitted statement from the band: “Our goal is to make our friends, families and fans proud, because from day one, it couldn’t have been done without them. We love to have a good time and hope to have a fun adventure with our new travels as a reforming band. We’re making a comeback and cannot wait to see what the future has in store.”
