May 19: Ambler Yards Beer Garden, Ambler, PA
Ambler Yards will again host the Ambler Yards Beer Garden, located at 300 Brookside Ave. in Ambler, on Thursdays and Saturdays from May 19 through the end of June. The Beer Garden offers an open air meadow where you can enjoy craft beer, wine, light fare from Cantina Feliz, Corn Hole, Giant Jenga, Kan Jam, Live Music and a bucolic friendly atmosphere. Two beers will be available, as well as Cantina Feliz’s famous guacamole. All guests must join the EventBrite guest list or provide name and email to be admitted. Kids are welcome but not pets!

May 21: Sly Fox “Taps Tunes & Trucks,” Pottstown Brewery and Tastin’ Room
Starting at 11 a.m., Sly Fox will host seven of the region’s most popular food trucks serving their curbside cuisine, along with live music until 6 p.m. Sly Fox’s taps will be pouring their award winning beer all day, including the 4 brews found in their most recent variety case, the “Box Set Summer Edition” — “Royal Weisse,” “Grisette Summer Ale,” “Helles Golden Lager” and “SRT Ale.”
May 26: Victory Brewing “Spring Beer Dinner,” Downingtown Brewpub
Victory will be holding the third and final of its three “Spring Beer Dinners” at the Downingtown Brewpub. From 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., a five course meal will be served, with a Victory beer paired with each course. You can see the full menu on Victory’s website — but note the dessert is a decadent “Chocolate and Cookies” paired with Victory’s “Tart Ten.” Seats are limited. Tickets are $65.
May 26: Iron Hill Brewery Beer Releases
On May 26, Iron Hill brewery is releasing 2 beers perfect for the summer season. From 5 – 8 p.m. Iron Hill North Wales will introduce its “Summer Crush,” a delicious Grapefruit Hefeweizen. At the same time, Iron Hill in Newark, De. will be serving the “GRADler,” Iron Hill’s version of a German Radler, in honor of The University of Delaware’s graduation ceremonies.
June 3 -12: Philly Beer Week
Philly Beer Week (“#PBW2016”) is a 10-day long celebration of beer in the country’s best beer drinking city. The official Philly Beer Week website hosts an “Events” page that is full of the amazing events scheduled for the week. It all starts off on Friday, June 3 with a relay of the “Hammer of Glory” from bar to bar in Philadelphia, with an official “Opening Tap” festival at The Fillmore beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets for “Opening Tap” can be purchased on the PBW website. And if you can’t make it into the city for PBW, there are plenty of events happening in the suburbs — check out Iron Abbey in Horsham and Capone’s in Norristown for special beer events.
June 4: Great Beer Expo, Philadelphia Naval Yard
In its eighth year, the Great Beer Expo returns to the Philadelphia Naval Yard to kick off the summer beer festival season! More than 60 breweries will be serving over 125 brews from the Philadelphia region and around the country. A general admission session runs from 1:30 – 5 p.m. ($46), and a VIP Session begins at 12:30 ($75). Purchase your tickets on the Great Beer Expo website.
