April 20: Iron Hill Media “Iron Lady Porter” Release
Beginning at 4 p.m., Iron Hill in Media will release its “Iron Lady Porter,” which was brewed in collaboration with the “Media Beer Ladies,” a Delaware County women’s social group who get together regularly to enjoy beer. Come out and enjoy Iron Lady Porter with them.

April 22 – 23: Sly Fox SRT Ale Release, 50K and Spreekend Party
Coinciding with Earth Day, Sly Fox is full of activity this weekend. In collaboration with the Schuylkill River Heritage Area, Sly Fox will release its “SRT (Schyulkill River Trail) Ale,” a portion of the sales going to improve and maintain the SRT, a 130 mile cycling and running trail. A 50K will be held on the SRT and each runner will receive an SRT Ale at the finish line. There will also be cleanup events and a “Spreekend Party.” Find more details on the Schuylkill River Heritage Area website.

April 23: Springfest Live 2016, Xfinity Live, Philadelphia
Springfest Live! 2016, The Philadelphia Spring Craft Beer & Music Festival will be held from 3 – 6 p.m. at XFINITY Live! in the Philadelphia Sports complex area. With more than 150 beers to sample in indoor and outdoor beer gardens, food trucks, and multiple musical acts, this event seems like a great way to celebrate the spring. A VIP Session starts at 2 p.m. ($60) and a General Session runs from 3 – 7 p.m. ($45) – tickets available online.

April 23: Barren Hill Tavern & Brewery “Tap into Spring with Team WMMR”
Barren Hill Tavern & Brewery in Lafayette Hill invites advanced and beginner cyclists to join in a 25 – 30 mile ride to benefit the American Cancer Society. Starting at 10:30 a.m. at the brewery, the loop ends back at Barren Hill where an extensive barbeque buffet from Chef Paul Trowbridge will be served, as well as house-made craft beer such as WMMOrange, a blood orange wheat beer brewed exclusively for this event. The party starts at 1 p.m .for those not biking.

April 23: PA Flavor, Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg
A showcase of Pennsylvania’s best beer and food, PA Flavor features more than 30 breweries and 20 restaurants. Presented jointly by the Brewers of PA, the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association, the American Culinary Federation and the Department of Agriculture’s PA Preferred Program, you’ll get your fill of Pennsylvania’s local flavors. Tickets are available online; a VIP session runs from 1 – 2 p.m. ($75) and the general session is from 2 – 5 p.m. ($44.50 advance, $50 at the door).
