April 2: Round Guys Brewing Fourth Anniversary Party. Believe it or not, Round Guys has been serving craft beer in Lansdale for 4 years! To celebrate, they will be hosting food trucks from noon to 4 p.m., live music and taps outside from 2 to 5, and a DJ starting at 8 p.m. Come out and congratulate your local brewers for 4 years of success.

April 3: “Taste of the Suburbs” Food & Wine Festival at the King of Prussia Mall. Sponsored by the King of Prussia Rotary Club, during this event you’ll “sample signature menu items and spirits from over 30 of the area’s top restaurants and wineries.” King of Prussia’s Rock Bottom Brewery and Lancaster Brewing Company will also be on hand to pour their brews. Tickets ($40 in advance, $50 at the door) can be purchased on the event website.

April 8: Iron Hill Brewery Media — “Real Boy 2xIPA” Beer Release. Starting at 4 p.m., Iron Hill Brewery, Media will release its most popular double IPA, “Real Boy 2xIPA.” Brewed in collaboration with Media’s Pinocchio’s Beer Garden, get it while it’s fresh.
April 9: Sly Fox Flight at the Pottstown Brewery & Tastin’ Room. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Appalachian Air Canines — a group of frisbee catching dogs — will be holding a competition in the field next to Sly Fox’s Pottstown brewery. Stop by for a pint and to watch the excitement.

April 8 – 9: Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival, Atlantic City Convention Center. In its 11th year, the Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival will showcase more than 1,000 unique beers from 150 breweries, 9 bands and will also feature culinary demonstrations by local chefs; educational seminars and some “off the wall” activities, including toilet bowl races, hot wing eating contests, field goal kick contests and much more. New this year is the “1st Annual Hops Trot,” a 5K Run beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning that will send the runners to some of Atlantic City’s favorite watering holes, including Steel Pier, Margaritaville, Chickie’s & Pete’s, Harry’s Oyster Bar & a satellite bar from Ducktown Tavern at Kennedy Plaza. April 9: Craft Beer Express. Tickets for the Spring 2016 Craft Beer Express on now on sale. A bus will take you to 13 of Philadelphia’s best bars — start at any bar, exchange your paper ticket for a wristband, and then travel to as many as you’d like. Many of the bars will be serving specials — like Varga Bar’s “Tired Hands Tap Takeover.” Tickets ($10) can be purchased online, but avoid an online processing fee by buying your ticket at one of the participating bars, which can be found on the Craft Beer Express website.
