Goschenhoppen Folk Festival takes you back in time

Goschenhoppen Folk Festival: The Goschenhoppen Historians celebrate their 50th anniversary at their 49th annual Folk Festival noon to 8 p.m. Aug. 7 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 8 at the historical society’s Henry Antes Plantation, 318 Colonial Road, off Route 73, Upper Frederick Township. The festival features living history demonstrations of home skills and trades of Pennsylvania German folk culture, circa 1750-1880. Admission is $12, $3 for children 6-15, $18 for a two-day pass.
