One of the world’s biggest rock bands is joining forces with a pay-cable giant in the hopes of making some beautiful music together.
HBO announced on Thursday that it will air a behind-the-scenes documentary about U2 on Nov. 7, and will follow that up a week later with a film documenting the group’s performance at Bercy Arena in Paris.
The documentary will examine how the band — made up of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. — worked with creative types to to conceptualize and create the cutting-edge technology and stage presentation of U2’s current world tour.
