Voting is now open to choose the contest winner. Cast your vote at http://bit.ly/3rd-annual-Montco-Idol.
This year’s Top 3 finalists — Kassidy Kimata, Ryan Beil and Jocelyn Rausch — will perform at The Crying Sam Elmwood Jam 4 The Hill at the Elmwood Park bandshell on Saturday, May 2 at 11 a.m.
The Crying Sam Elmwood Jam 4 The Hill is a free event created by Norristown Arts Council. Proceeds from the event will benefit productions and operations of Norristown Arts Council and Norristown Arts Hill as advocates for Norristown’s Arts and Culture organizations. The Norristown Arts Hill Festival, which was usually held the first weekend in May, will return next year.
“This year we are proud to offer the community an array of fantastic high-energy bands on a day traditionally reserved for the Norristown Arts Hill Festival,” Norristown Arts Council President Rich Rodgers said in a press release. “So many great bands wanted to work with us this year, we decided to mix things up a bit by throwing a concert for the community.”
