Enjoy unlimited samples of more than 75 beers at the McCoole’s Spring Beer Festival.
Held April 25 at McCoole’s Arts and Events Place, 10 S. Main St., Quakertown, sessions are noon to 4 p.m. or 5 to 9 p.m. for ages 21+ only. If you’re in the mood to taste something different, there’s also a premium spirits and wine garden.
Tickets are $50 in advance, $60 at the door if they’re not sold out. Designated drivers are $15 and get unlimited soda and water.
Performing live music will be Witches Bru, Mike Greer and The Mighty Manatees, Bottom of the Lake, Red Hill Ramblers, and Derelict Franchise. The festivities also include beer pong for prizes, food, vendors, beer trivia and a home brew competition.
Next to the building, which used to be the Main Street Theater, is McCoole’s Red Lion Inn, where local Pennsylvania Dutch farmers rebelled against federal government taxation in 1799.
