The inaugural Reading Craft Beer Festival is happening Saturday April 18.
More than 100 brews of a variety of colors, styles and tastes will be found 1 to 5 p.m. (last call at 4:30) — at noon if you have VIP tickets — at the Santander Arena, 700 Penn St. Tickets are $45 and include a commemorative sampling glass. VIP tickets — which include exclusive hors d’oeuvres and beer pairings in the skybox, and special events like breakout sessions — are $65. There are discounts for groups of 10 or more.
There will be concessions and vendors on the concourse and arena floor.
Got a designated driver? Their ticket is $20. There’s a designated driver lounge with games, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. If you buy four or more VIP tickets, your DD is free. All attendees have to be at least 21 — no exceptions.
Visit www.readingbeerfest.com for a look at all 50 breweries (which includes some hard cider makers too).
Make sure you bring enough money for parking, which runs $8-$12 at the garages near the arena.
For tickets, you can call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000.
