Saturday is Pirates and Princesses Day at Please Touch Museum

Dress up in your favorite princess or pirate costumes and come out for themed shows, games and activities all day long Saturday at the Please Touch Museum.
Children will get to meet PTM’s own puppet pals Captain Pierce and Princess Penelope, decorate a crown or pirate’s hat in the program room, enjoy princess and pirate themed story times and more.
Highlights of the day include “Tucker’s Tales Puppets: The Bookaneers.” The search for the source of all knowledge has been an age-old quest of the human race. But when a crew of mixed-up pirates set off to conquer the world on board the good ship Dictionary, learning becomes a hilarious adventure! Will they ever discover the treasure cove of Wisdom and Facts and rule the world? Join Captain Dewey and First Mate Decimal as they sail the seven seas toward true knowledge, and considerable laughter.
Also featured will be  “Tom McDonnell’s Magic Princess Show,” as Please Touch Museum’s favorite magician for this magical romp through a world filled with everything Princess.
Here is a full list of programming schedule:
• Program Room Fun: Decorate a crown or pirate hat and group painting activity 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Tucker’s Tales Puppets: The Bookaneers in the Please Touch Playhouse Theater at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
• Magician Tom McDonnell: Magic Princess Show Noon and 2 p.m.
• Pirates & Princesses Parachute Games 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
• Puppet Pal appearances at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
• Story time in Story Castle at 10:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.
• Pirates & Princesses Dance Party 4:30 p.m.
