PHILADELPHIA >> For the 17th consecutive year, the Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention will be showcasing a wide array of tattoo artists and varied entertainment.
This year’s show, held today-Sunday at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch St., is billed as one of the biggest shows in the world.
Show times 2 p.m.-midnight today, 11 a.m.-midnight Saturday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
The show features award-winning tattoo artists from around the world, special appearances and unique performances.
Come see your favorite TV personalities from “NY Ink,” “LA Ink,” “Best Ink,” “Tattoo Rescue,” and “Ink Master” including “Ink Master” winners Jason Clay Dunn, Shane O’Neil, Joey Hamilton and Scott Marshall, and The Bristol Tattoo Club.
Awards for Best Back Piece, Most Original Tattoo and Tattoo of the Day are among those included in the daily tattoo contests. Entertainment will be provided by Old City Sideshow, The Enigma and Marlo Marquise, plus there will be burlesque and live human suspension.
Visitors can view the more than 900 artists from around the work tattooing live all weekend, from 400 different tattoo shops.
