The 99th Pennsylvania Farm Show continues through Jan. 17, with nearly 6,000 animals, 10,000 exhibits and 300 commercial exhibits in the Farm Show Complex & Expo Center, North Cameron and Maclay streets, Harrisburg.
Features include a high-tech Pennsylvania Hardwoods Council WoodMobile, lumberjack and “lumberjill” demonstrations, Family Ag-Olympics, a cooking demonstration by Aaron McCargo Jr. of “The Next Food Network Star,” Farm Show Detectives Learning Stations, a Pennsylvania Cheese Competition, an expanded Food Court in the Main Hall, new family living exhibitions, more animal competitions and more. There’s a $10 parking fee and the best time to arrive is generally between 9 a.m. and noon.
