Marvel Studios debuted the new trailer for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” on Monday, during the college football championship game.
Right. Lots of flying robots. In the trailer … not the game.
“Everyone creates the thing they dread,” says James Spader, who plays the villainous, indestructible robot Ultron, at the beginning of the one-minute, 40-second trailer.
We don’t see a whole lot more than we did in the last trailer, though a gun-wielding Andy Serkis shows up, appearing to confirm fan rumors he’ll become super villain Klaw.
According to the New York Daily News, the plot will focus on Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) bungled attempt at using Iron Man’s drone forces to ease pressure on the Avengers. Of course, the robots decide they don’t need human handlers and decide to kill them.
