As usual, the new season of “Game of Thrones” will consist of 10 episodes. HBO has yet to release any preview footage, but the cable network said earlier this week that an “exclusive” trailer will be shown during the one-week screening of “Game of Thrones” at select IMAX theaters starting Jan. 23.
At long last, “Game of Thrones” fans can mark their calendars. HBO announced on Thursday that the wildly popular epic fantasy will return for its fifth season at 9 p.m. April 12.
Additionally on Thursday, HBO announced that “Silicon Valley” will launch its 10-episode second season on April 12 at 10 p.m. It will be followed by the 10-episode fourth season premiere of “Veep” at 10:30 p.m.
