  • “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” (8 p.m., CBS): Let’s hear it for the misfits. It’s a holly-jolly celebration, as “Rudolph” marks its 50th anniversary as a yuletide TV favorite. And even after five decades, it’s great to see that Bumbles still bounce.”
  • “New Girl” (9 p.m., Fox): It’s the seasonal nightmare we all dread: Jess and her roommates are trying to travel to their respective homes for the holidays, only to be trapped at the airport by a giant storm. Somehow, they’ll find a way to wring some humor from the stress.
  • “Sons of Anarchy” series finale (10 p.m., FX): Time to put a fork in it. After seven seasons drenched in blood and tears, the savage Shakespearean motorcycle saga takes its final ride with a 90-minute episode written and directed by creator Kurt Sutter. So what will become of Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam), the ill-advised outlaw who went on a vicious vengeance quest after his wife was murdered? We don’t expect it to be pretty.
