The Made in America Festival was so successful in Philadelphia that it’s been expanded to a second concert in Los Angeles that’s also being held on Labor Day weekend.   The festival  posted  performance times via Twitter Wednesday morning  “PHILLY – We present to you the 2014 @Budweiser #MadeInAmerica set times!”  said the Budweiser MIA Fest Twitter account @MIAFestival.
A crazy mash up of hip-hop and alternative rock on three stages, conceived by and still curated by Jay Z, the Saturday Aug. 30 lineup is headlined by Kanye West and Steve Aoki  and features performances by The National, Big Daddy Kane, DJ Cassidy, The Neighbourhood, Mayer Hawthorne, J. Cole, and Chromeo.  For a complete list go to http://a.madeinamericafest.com/landing/
Sunday Aug. 31’s headliners are Kings of Leon and Tiesto, with a bill that includes the sounds of Bleachers, Bear Hands, Kongos,  Pharrell Williams and Spoon and more.
The music starts at noon both days, with live sets from 70 different artists over the two days.
A portion of the proceeds benefits the United Ways of Greater Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey and Lancaster County.

Where is this?
On Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Do I need tickets?
Yes. They’re general admission and are $106.70 for single day admission, $168.70 for two-day passes. Madeinamericafest.com recommends going through Ticketmaster or Live Nation so you’re guaranteed verifiable authentic tickets.
Is this an all-ages show?
Yes. But only adults 21 and older will be allowed into the beer gardens.
Will SEPTA be running?
Yes. Check www.septa.org or call (215) 580-7800 for the schedule.
I bet parking is going to be less than ideal.
Keep in mind the parking meters will only hold your space a maximum of one to four hours; so a parking lot or garage is a smart choice. Plan ahead at www.philapark.org.
Do I get my hand stamped if I need to exit and re-enter the festival grounds?
No. There’s no re-entry. So if you exit, you’re done for the day. Be advised that loitering around the perimeter of the festival is not allowed. There will be food for sale, and if you’re in need of assistance, contact security or festival personnel or go to the medical tent.
What if it rains?
The Made in America Festival is held rain or shine.

What are the hotel accommodations like?
Visitphilly.com has several recommendations, including Residence Inn Center City, Le Meridien, and the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Be sure to book ahead of time; more than 5,500 people on Facebook have said they’re going to be there.
I just looked at the full lineup. Who are some of these people?
The festival website has Spotify playlists with the performers in both cities. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
I need more information.
