Production of orphan’s journey is running this weekend at Lehigh Valley Youth Community Theatre

“Angie Jackson: The Musical” a live theatrical production by the Lehigh Valley Youth Community Theatre, will be performed at 7 p.m., Friday, May 2 and 7 p.m., Saturday, May 3 at The State Theatre of Boyertown, 61 N. Reading Ave.

Written by Vincent E. Kee, the production is a modern day fairy tale, an urban legend he created that tells the story of 14-year-old Angie, who is orphaned and has to make her own way in 1935-era Harlem. Throughout her journey she has many adventures and meets historical figures.
