* Legendary songstress Peggy King and the All-Star Jazz Trio will appear at World Cafe Live (Wilmington) at The Queen in Wilmington, DE, for a special Mother’s Day Brunch Concert on Sunday, May 11.  Show begins at 12:30 p.m, and there is a special brunch menu available. * Playing for Change will be in Philadelphia playing at World Cafe Live on Tuesday, June 10. The band has announced its upcoming U.S. tour in support of Playing For Change 3 “Songs Around The World”, the band’s third CD/DVD set available June 17. Coming off a successful 2013 stadium tour with Robert Plant in Australia, the PFC Band is getting ready to hit the road again, from the streets to the stage, to the hearts of the people.

*Willie Watson (formerly of Old Crow Medicine Show) is going to be coming to town in a few weeks and playing at World Café Live on May 22. Watson’s debut solo album Folk Singer Vol. 1 will be released on May 6, 2014. The album was produced by the legendary David Rawlings, longtime friend and producer of Watson’s previous band, Old Crow Medicine Show.
